ooooh

isn't part of this tune from that frog-toad dubsteptune you were working on a while back?

loving the gritty synths innit, it'll make an awesome tune for robotday!!!

Rig responds:

Yeah, I'm making it more robot-y. Thanks!

Tore would like

Yes he would.

Loving the sounds, and the stereo-tap going on.
The sub sounds really hollow, like you mention. BUT I WILL DEAL WITH IT! OK FINE! bärs imorn förresten kanske?

nlz responds:

Thanks dude, I aim to please Tore.
Klart det blir bärs imorn!

decent tune

it has some ok elements to it... nothing that really sticks out, but it's an ok piece. what you really must look out for is pressing your tune against the roof with the limiter like that, it's very clear that even in the breakdowns the limiter is thugging hard (around 1.40 f.ex.).
it's something alot of people don't even notice, but if you know what to listen for you'll realize that it's a dynamical disaster.

still, i stomped my feet a little.

Randomizor responds:

Thanks.

oh...

...i never go around to review this it seem!

overall i like what you did with the tune, the panned reece sounds gritty and sweet. it has a good beat going on, though there's a SERIOUS lack of sub. another con would be the intro, it's really drowning with reverb.
productionvice it's ok though, this is exactly how remixes should be - save some of the original elements, and bring alot of new ones innit. i just don't feel the red thread somehow, there are things going on to give anticipation of what's to come throughout the song, i just don't buy them. perhaps the beat needs more versatility. all the way through the tune.
after the breakdown there's a sine-like synth that may have been meant to be a sub? it's at least one octave too high for that, if that's the intention.

the breakdown was really cool, btw.

so overall, a cool remix right here!

Quarl responds:

Are you sure you can't hear that sub I put through out most of the track? More presence maybe?

hahaaa!

i never learned to pronounce shallashshlsalhslhalh-1, so i have five minutes to waste on pointless tings. i'll go toss that turtle for five, i think... ^___^

Coop responds:

Well, that's a life-changing moment and this audio piece has done its job - you didn't make the same mistake as me, learning to pronounce Shalashaska and finding out that you'd wasted your time.

yayayayaya!

the intro, with the pitch-falling going on really builds an awesome expectation.

really like it when the strings comes in, this really do have an epic feel to it.

the dynamical balance is smooth, but perhaps it could have been worked with a little more, especially the long woodwindinstrument-note at the very end.

perhaps you could have worked a little more with the percussion, it just doesn't quite fulfill what the intro promise.

still, amazing track right here, buddy! keep em coming! :D

Arbiter responds:

Thanks!
I actually agree with you on the drums and their dynamic being, well - lacking.
But I really felt that they were a better fit than anything I tried to create.
And the instrument is actually brass, a trombone and a french horn if I remember correctly.
Anyhow: Much obliged that you came to review - means alot :)
