Well...
... this was pretty good. But what I find interesting in Black metal are the melodius parts. It´s very often the "mangle vs melody" that brings forth the "good" parts in my opinion.
This song don´t have any "softer" (read; melodius) parts, but the mangle is good. U seem to be quite a good guitarplayer.
Anyway, here´s a short responce to your responce of my review of "Rebirth of The Antichrist".
I grew up on metal, mostly black metal, so i´ve heard alot (not that much nowadays than I used to though).
I know how quality sounded in b-m band in "the good ol´days", some are really sloppy, and some are really good, and some are really sloppy on purpose. In that song of ur´s I couldn´t hear the lyrics due to the quality, I´m from Sweden, but I live in Oslo, so yeah, I do understand norwegian :D And besides, even if it were top qual. it´d be difficult hearing well-reverbed growling lyrics anyhow.
The "bad qual." can be effective in some songs, like an effect to dirty things up a bit, making it sound more... erhm... evil, but I think it´s a little to dirty in the songs of u i´ve listened so far. Just my honest opinion, I hope u can take it the right way ;D
Now, if u haven´t checked "In Holes" out I strongly suggest u do (and leave me a review, will ya? ;). I will be submitting more melodius
b-m pretty soon, so keep ur eyes open! :D And yeah, try to see if u can hear what I growl in that song, It´s partly in swedish, partly in english and one sentence in norwegian.
