Now...

...this song is PHAT! The robo-voices in the intro sux, but they aren´t there in the rest of teh song, so u´re forgiven :D
There´s defenitley speed in the song, it has got battle written all over it.
The speeded hihat hits makes it stressing, and the drumwork is just amazing. The synth´s are making a good overalljob, but there could be some more "boiiiing" sounds or similiar sounds in between, to fill out and keep the song even more busy.
No matter though, the song is very cool and deserves a 5!!!

Pandora-Tranquil responds:

thanks dude i always love your reviews.

Since...

... i´ve been looping this damn song a 1000 times now, there´s no other thing to say than I really like it! Very sophisticated videogame-sound in the back, i just loved it and that sound made me think of Gianna Sisters at once by some weird reason. The whole song was original and really really strange, wich I like alot! Wierd breakdowns and recoveries make the song unreliable and... i dunno, really cool! This song deserves a;

5/5

Dj-Zabar responds:

Omg, u've realy made my day. Thank u so much for the nice review. I dont know what else to say, but im happy you liked it.

Well...

... this was pretty good. But what I find interesting in Black metal are the melodius parts. It´s very often the "mangle vs melody" that brings forth the "good" parts in my opinion.
This song don´t have any "softer" (read; melodius) parts, but the mangle is good. U seem to be quite a good guitarplayer.

Anyway, here´s a short responce to your responce of my review of "Rebirth of The Antichrist".
I grew up on metal, mostly black metal, so i´ve heard alot (not that much nowadays than I used to though).
I know how quality sounded in b-m band in "the good ol´days", some are really sloppy, and some are really good, and some are really sloppy on purpose. In that song of ur´s I couldn´t hear the lyrics due to the quality, I´m from Sweden, but I live in Oslo, so yeah, I do understand norwegian :D And besides, even if it were top qual. it´d be difficult hearing well-reverbed growling lyrics anyhow.
The "bad qual." can be effective in some songs, like an effect to dirty things up a bit, making it sound more... erhm... evil, but I think it´s a little to dirty in the songs of u i´ve listened so far. Just my honest opinion, I hope u can take it the right way ;D

Now, if u haven´t checked "In Holes" out I strongly suggest u do (and leave me a review, will ya? ;). I will be submitting more melodius
b-m pretty soon, so keep ur eyes open! :D And yeah, try to see if u can hear what I growl in that song, It´s partly in swedish, partly in english and one sentence in norwegian.

ElGhoulio responds:

Thanks for the kind comments. This one was without lyrics, so yeah. Black metal is so international for the main reason that you really can't understand the lyrics in any language, so their fans are pretty spread out. I tend to make my songs icy and reverb-y, with very energetic yet atmospheric guitars. Thanks again for reviewing.

Messy intro...

...and honestly quality wasn´t that good either. The vocals felt a little un-tight and unclean, but that could have been the bad quality speaking. It´s a little difficult giving this song a descent and fair review, due to quality... sorry.
Othervise I felt the song had potential, guitarplaying is quite good (i guess, but cant judge properly due to qual :).

Anyway, I think U should check out my latest submission "In Holes", if u like melodius black metal. And I got some old submissions (listed heavy metal) that are entirely made in Reason (!). Still sounds quite OK I guess :D Would be fun if u stopped by and reviewed, not so many black metal submissions here on the AP!
Stay evil \m/,

ElGhoulio responds:

Honestly, most black metal is messy and has very poor production. The reason you couldn't understand the vocals or felt they were untight and unclean is because they were in norwegian. And listen to darkthrone, and you will understand how quality is relative. But I thank you for the time you submitted when you reviewed this audio. However, honestly, listen to most black metal, and you will realize my stuff is actually relatively good, like any of Emperor's early work, Darkthrone, Ulver, early Borknagar, Abigor, early Mayhem, early Marduk, Narggoth, or maybe even early COF and Dimmu Borgir all posess bad production, yet they flourish in overall effect. I did 3 mix tries in this, so any "quality" qualms you may have were probably intentional. Other than that, it's nice to have another BM fan.

Hey....

... this shit is good man! If made asa pure song (not film-music) the beat must arrive earlier. This is quite simple, but it has a very good melody through the whole song. More happenings is wanted, maybe some background sounds or more different beats to spice things up. It really sounds god when the beat u now added on late came in. Fat shit!!

Looking forward to hear more stuff from ya man!

Hey man...

... this shit is really good! I thank u for the story U told me too haha! Long story made... Long :D

I´ll check more of ur stuff out when i have time!

Rubbertje responds:

Thanks mate :)!

Greets!

The song...

...is very simple, but I still like it man! When the "other(panning)" instrument comes in, it really gives me a feel of... i dunno, i like, simply :D

Feels quite video-gameish, and that´s probably what i like. When i grew up, i used to tape record videogame music directly form the speakers. :D

I hope u´ll make more stuff than these two songs!

LiquiDRocK responds:

Hey thanks for th review! more on the way, trying to learn how to use fruity loops.

Hey man...

...this has a really original feel to it. I really liked the wierd and unexpected turn this song took. Really cool! Smart looping on the song too. I´m gonna have to check ome more of ur stuff out!

/Rucklo

Bosa responds:

Yes, I have been working on that track for a while now. I haven't been able to come on due to job titles and such. Yet, you have the power to view anything you like her on NG. So go for it!

Your Friend, ßosa

Humm...

... this sounded good, then the piano came in and was a little too high, it overrides a little. Not good for yer speakers. I discovered some techno elements, some freakin ska elements(!) amongst other. Well this was a very interesting song, and things like this I like to see (hear).
I´m gonna check some more of ur sub´s out dude!

/Rucklo

RyeGuyHead responds:

ska! I in no way intended that

This...

... is a really chiled out song u got here! It is a little repetetive though.
I would like to hear a remix with a slower trip-hopish beat, and a more "hip-hopish"feel to it. I think the basics are really good, with the strings and the harp or whatever instruments have been used.

Overall a good job though!

Khuskan responds:

I was going to have lyrics over the top of this one, but i just thought it would ruin it.
