(Scroll down for the vid, you lazy bastard)
A few weeks back I uploaded my first video ever to youtube, an old music-video of a "Cure for the Itch", an instrumental song from Linkin Parks first album.
But, it didn't take long until I was informed that the tune contained illegal audio, and it got blocked from public view.
I would guess that this was made automatically though, and not by hand. I'm pretty sure they scan the uploaded audio to make sure its not just somone uploading a tune with a still image, and if their database or whatever they compare against, match a copyrighted tune, it'll get blocked from public view automatically.
Now, I filed a complain, and forgot about it, thinking that they'd never let it in anyway. As far as I know, the music-video should be covered by Fair-Use, since I created the actual video, full credit have been given to Linkin Park, and I'm not making any money out of it. One issue could be that I'm Swedish, and as far as I know, Fair-Use is a unique American law/exception, but whatever...
Anyway, I just checked my youtube out, and whaddayakno', looks like they actually checked my complain out and let the video through.
So, here it is, like seven+ years old, edited in Adobe Premiere 6.5. I pretty much haven't made any videos since then, a few shorter things, but not all too long after that vid was cut, I started making music - that was supposed to be for my movies in the first place. But music-making took over, so yeah. It'd be fun to make a new vid some day, especially a music-vid. Who knows, maybe one day... :)
For now, enjoy this OOOOOLLLLLLDDDDDD music-video, and rip it apart if you like :D
