Look, I don't care whether you're "just doing your job" or not. But if you're going to enforce the rules of the BBS, at least do so <em>consistently and fairly</em>, not just when you feel like it.

You weren't... Like involved into programming the engine, were you?
Because framerate dependancy is bad, but it keeps turning up in triple A games.
i've mainly been helping out with implementing VO, helping out with a few pickup-recording sessions... stuff like that, so nope, I haven't done any kind of programming. For me framerate is ok, but yeah, maybe 1337 gamers would need better... I don't know what BF3 is at, and what other games usually are, but I'd guess around 30?
Either way, Frostbite 2 is a brand new engine, but it's very powerful... And I can assure you the guys and girls working over at Frostbite aren't any programming n00bs... however, if you experience the framerate to be bad, that's not a good thing of course.
